At 10am on Wednesday 6th of October 2021 we are organising a litter pick along the A61. A considerable amount of rubbish has accumulated again which has been blown down or thrown down from the roadside.
The meeting point is by the bus stop on the A61 at the top of Wentworth Way at about 10am
This event will be supported by Twiggs and hopefully McDonalds staff along with as many local supporters and residents as possible.
There has been a tremendous response and interest at the last 4 community litter picks, and we hope this will continue forward.
Please bring any protective equipment you have, i.e. gloves, litter pickers. We will provide bags and hi-viz vests and we do have a limited supply of picker sticks available.
